To me, being a Malvern Scholar is like a rainbow of emotions. I feel extremely grateful for the opportunities and experiences it has provided, and honoured to be part of the Malvern family and represent my school in all areas of academics.

The scholarship has opened doors I never thought of walking through before. It has offered me specific programmes and speakers, who have enriched my knowledge of the academic and personal aspects of being a scholar. I have also been pushed to the best of my abilities internally and externally in Malvern, challenging and enriching myself in the process.

My long-term career aspiration is to study and pursue medicine, like my parents in Hong Kong, so I can support and help people in need while also in a field I am extremely passionate about and interested in, science.

Advice for other applicants: 

Stay diligent and never stop trying, as if you never try, you never know the potential you have. Stop being scared or anxious to apply as you really do not have anything to lose!
