Malvern College Hong Kong operates in a strong and authentic partnership with its parent school, Malvern College UK. This close relationship is underpinned by continuous support and educational oversight, including the long-term appointment of Malvern College UK representatives to the College Council. The College places great importance on remaining aligned with the latest educational developments and best practices, while consistently upholding the highest standards of teaching and learning. To ensure these expectations are met at all times, Malvern College UK conducts regular quality assurance inspections at Malvern College Hong Kong.

Malvern College established its first overseas campus, Malvern College Qingdao, in September 2012, followed by Malvern College Chengdu in September 2015. Malvern College Egypt opened in September 2016, closely followed by the opening of Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong in 2017 and Malvern College Hong Kong in 2018. Most recently, Malvern College Tokyo welcomed its first pupils in September 2023, further extending the global Malvern family.
