The Arts programme at Malvern College Hong Kong (MCHK) encompasses visual arts, music, theatre and dance, allowing pupils to express their creativity and develop their artistic skills. Visual Arts
In Visual Arts, pupils are encouraged to explore a wide range of techniques and materials to build conceptual understanding and tactile skills. Core areas of tactile experimentation include:
Drawing & Painting
Experimenting with traditional mediums including pencils, charcoal, and pastels, alongside watercolours, acrylics, and complex mixed media applications to master composition and colour theory.
Printmaking
Learning structural and repetitive design systems through foundational print techniques, including relief printing, etching processes, and screen printing methodologies.
Sculpture
Creating structural, three-dimensional works using clay, paper mache, and repurposed recyclable materials, which enhances spatial awareness and structural design thinking.
Collage & Composition
